WHY WE LOVE IT

• A favorite dish in the Middle East, kibbe are savory spheres of ground meat rolled in seasoned bulgur wheat. Ours are hand made from scratch using traditional recipes, hearty beef and chicken, and classic spices. We paired them with a zesty zhug sauce for dipping. Easy to prepare, the crowd-pleasing snacks are great for parties, game days and family meals.

• Chicken Kibbe: Savory ground chicken is highlighted by sun-dried tomato, onion, black pepper and hint of cayenne.
• Beef Kibbe: Finely minced halal ground beef is enhanced with diced walnuts, spices and parsley.
• Zhug Sauce: Aromatic cilantro sauce features cardamom and cumin plus medium heat from jalapeño, Aleppo and red peppers.

RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS

• Kibbe ships frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
• Upon receipt, store unopened in freezer for up to 9 months or in refrigerator for up to 6 days.

PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

Kibbe

• For best results, prepare from thawed.

From Thawed

• Thaw overnight in refrigerator.
• Preheat oven to 350°F. Transfer kibbe to greased or lined oven-safe tray. Brush with olive oil. Bake for 8–10 minutes or until heated through.
• Enjoy warm with zhug sauce.

From Frozen

• Preheat oven to 350°F. Transfer kibbe to greased or lined oven-safe tray. Brush with olive oil. Bake for 14–16 minutes or until heated through.
• Enjoy warm with zhug sauce.

Zhug Sauce

• Massage pouch to mix ingredients and transfer to bowl for dipping.
• Serve chilled.

Chicken Kibbe

• Dough: Cracked wheat bulgur, water, eggs (whole eggs, citric acid), potato starch, wheat farina, flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), pepper paste (red pepper, salt), sunflower oil, seasoning salt (salt, paprika, garlic, dextrose, spices), salt.
• Filling: Ground chicken, onion, butter (pasteurized cream [derived from milk], natural flavorings), sun-dried tomatoes, whole milk (whole milk, vitamin D3), sunflower oil, flour (bleached wheat flour, malted barley flour, niacin, iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper.
• Contains dairy, eggs, wheat/gluten.
• This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with dairy, eggs, fish (sea bass, king turbot), sesame, shellfish (shrimp, clam juice, crab), soy, tree nuts (almonds, cashews, pine nuts, walnuts, pecans, coconut), wheat/gluten, mustard.

Beef Kibbe

• Dough: Cracked wheat bulgur, minced beef, water, onion, eggs (whole eggs, citric acid), wheat farina, pepper paste (red pepper, salt), flour (bleached wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid), sunflower oil, spices, salt, black pepper.
• Filling: Halal ground beef, onion, walnuts, sunflower oil, parsley, spices, salt, black pepper.
• Contains eggs, tree nuts (walnuts), wheat/gluten.
• This product is prepared and packaged using machines that may come in contact with dairy, eggs, fish (sea bass, king turbot), sesame, shellfish (shrimp, clam juice, crab), soy, tree nuts (almonds, cashews, pine nuts, walnuts, pecans, coconut), wheat/gluten, mustard.

Zhug Sauce

• Cilantro, jalapeños, garlic, cardamom, salt, olive oil, lemon juice, red wine vinegar, Aleppo peppers, cumin, red pepper flakes.
